WOMEN'S MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDES
When
Sunday, August 24th at 8am
Details
Join SORBA Middle TN & Team Green for our monthly women’s mountain bike rides! These rides are open to women only and are for all levels (i.e. beginner friendly). We will move the rides around each month to give a little variety and, depending on who shows up, we will tailor the ride to meet everyone’s needs. You will never be left behind on one of these rides! The goal of the monthly rides is to help women have fun and feel less intimidated by riding and learning with other women of similar ability levels. If you are new to the sport, are tired of riding with the guys, want to meet other women that like to ride, or you simply love any excuse to ride your bike, come join us.
AUGUST: Sunday, August 24th, 8am, Lock 4
SEPTEMBER: Sunday, September 21st, 8am, Montgomery Bell
OCTOBER: Sunday, October 19th, 9am, Long Hunter
Rain cancels. You will need to bring a mountain bike (hybrids are okay, but should at least have front suspension) w/ knobby tires, a helmet, and a water bottle or hydra-pack. If you are new to the sport or haven’t ridden in a while, you may want to take your bike to your local bike shop to make sure everything is in working order and fits you properly before your first ride. If you have any questions, please email Shana Culberson at shanaculberson@yahoo.com.
Directions:
Lock 4: From I-40 east of Nashville, take the Gallatin exit (State Road 109 north). Go Approx 10-11 miles. Just over Cumberland River Bridge, turn left on Peach Valley Rd. Go to the road’s deadend and turn left on Lock 4 road. Follow to end of road, park at old silo.

Hi Ladies, Recently learned about Team Green looking forward to the ride in August. I am new to riding, any pointers.
How long will we be out there? I’d like to come but need to know how long to plan for. Any idea?
Hey guys – I plan on meeting y’all there for my first TG event and first mtn bike ride in ages. I’m new so I’ll be slow.
