OYSTER URBAN ADVENTURE RACE
When
Saturday, September 6th from 6am (8am start) til 6pm
Details
The Oyster is the coolest race you will ever participate in. . . and it’s coming to Nashville. Team Green, Lightning 100, and Merrell are supporters of this unique urban challenge!
The Oyster is billed as the Ultimate Urban Adventure Race for its uncanny ability to provide pure athleticism with thought-provoking strategy. The race obstacles are kept a secret until the start of the race. All you know is you and your 3 or 6-person team will run-bike-scoot/skate-trek-climb-paddle (and other crazy stuff) your way around Nashville doing amazing things and performing some creative stunts. This event benefit’s Nashville Greenways (so that may give a hint where some of the course will take place).
Event Schedule:
Aug. 7th / 7:00pm: Pre-race seminar: “Cracking the Oyster”. Learn the ins and outs of the Oyster from our pro athletes. Held at Climb Nashville – 3630 Redmond St.

How Do We Train?
The race start and “transition area” is located at the Country Music Hall of Fame Park. So, just get out there and be active! Consider where a group of out-of-towners might send you for an adventure scavenger hunt in Nashville. Starting at the Country Music Hall of Fame Park, hop on a bike and ride 10-15 miles round trip to somewhere famous or unique to Nashville, then run, skate/scoot, or paddle to another location. There will be no set course.. only a destination, so think of the best routes to these uniquely Nashville locations and have some fun!

I would love to do this if anybody needs a team mate!
This sounds fun! Does anyone know what charity this is benefiting?
The race benefits Nashville Greenways (so maybe that’ll give a hint as to where some of the course will take place?!)
Hey, looking to get on a team, if anybody needs a team give me a shout, I just found out about this cool event.
I would love to be on a team. My strengths are trekking, rappelling, kayaking, rollerblading, and Mountainbiking.
Hey Team Greeners,
