More about this Green way:

Cannonsburgh Village contains buildings typical of those constructed in small Tennessee communities between 1830 and 1930. Historic buildings include a grist mill, school house, telephone operator’s house, the University house, the Leeman House, a museum, a caboose, the Wedding Chapel, a doctor’s office, a general store, and a blacksmith’s shop.

Fortress Rosecrans was the largest Civil War fort. Some of the best-preserved earthworks are on the green way, although much of the 225 acre fort has been obscured by human activity,

McFadden’s Ford is the site of an artillery monument (obelisk) and was the site of a major engagement during the Battle of Stones River. The green way is handicap accessible.
