Join Team Green for an energy packed team-building experience that will benefit a healthy Cumberland River ecosystem!
On August 23rd, the Cumberland River Compact and Tennessee Scenic Rivers Association will host “Roaring on the River,” Nashville’s only Dragon Boat and River Festival. Teams of 16 to 25 amateur paddlers will race traditional Hong Kong-style Dragon Boats along a 250-meter stretch of the Cumberland River at downtown Nashville’s Riverfront Park.
Team Green Paddle Team
Race on the Team Green Team! We’ll provide boat, paddles, instruction and even a training session a week prior to the race. You’ll be engaging in friendly competition against teams from other local corporations and organizations, such as Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Bridgestone, WRLT and many others. All proceeds go towards cleaner Cumberland waters.

what time does the Dragon Boat race start?
The race begins at 9am. Each team will race three times with the final race taking place at 4pm.
